In Nigeria, 57 million people don't have access to safe water and almost 60,000 children under five years old die every year from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. Nigeria's water infrastructure is also suffering from severe neglect. Rural areas face a decline in services and in urban areas. People are forced to buy water from private vendors.

 

Partners For Water exists to do something about that. We have focused on projects in the north central part of the country, where research has shown that villages and communities' main sources of water are from either streams or rivers that are extremely far from home. In order to change lives,  we partner with people like you to initiate and facilitate water projects in Nigeria.
